IT GETS BETTER WITH TIME.

TIME heal wounds! Do you agree to this assertion? How about the saying, it gets better with time?” Do you believe that too? No matter what you are going through, things get better with time. You may be going through the worst situation of your life currently, you may be experiencing the most terrible pain ever; well I say, give it time.

You will bare me witness that you are not where used to be and this goes either way. Either better or worst, you’re still not exactly where you were some few years ago. You are either better now or worst. There were times you couldn’t afford most of the things you have now, there were times you may have cried about the things you laugh about now, there were times desperation and ignorance made you do things you probably wouldn’t ever do now. But as time went on, all of those changed because you out-grew them.
Things will get better, far better and this is an assurance. Things will get easier, even if things do not get better you will get stronger. Whatever you are going through today it will either be a lesson for you to teach others or a joke to laugh about. Things happen for a reason and we always realize that with time.

Let me tell you a little story that happened in my house today! So mum woke up this morning, went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. After she was done with and served us, something unusual happened. She broke down and started crying while we were having breakfast. I got shocked and wondered why she started crying all of a sudden. I continued to wonder what was wrong for that moment only for her to tell me there was no problemWho cries during breakfast and tells you there is no problem? Well it turned out that was actually tears of gratitude, tears of joy. Not once did she think she was going to live in a three bedroom apartment
with a fully built kitchen attached. Sometime back she recalled,
she had to share a room with twelve (12) other people, there was no kitchen, you cook where at where you can find. In fact, what are you Kgoing to cook when there is nothing? Someone had to cook and offer her some food to eat.
She told me about some time an experience she had when she gave birth to my brother, my dad was sick and had been admitted to the hospital plus she had issues with her landlord because she wanted my mum to leave her house. This woman with her new born baby had to share a room with seven (7) other people but now she has a room in her apartment that she barely uses after 29 years. Life.

Ten years ago when I first gained admission to attend Ghana National College in Cape Coast, this same woman was denied my prospectus for failure to paying only Ghc 400 after traveling to the School to follow up with my admission. Since she didn’t have that money, she returned back home empty handed. She came back to Kumasi without the prospectus and cried like nobody’s business. Fast forward to 2019, both children of hers have completed the university and own businesses. God, won’t He do it?
I got the inspiration to sharing this little personal family story with you because it’s an evidence that situations do change with time.
Whatever you are going through, will get better trust me, just give it time and believe in God. Whatever God has planned for you will come to passagain give it time and trust Him. He makes all things beautiful in His time.
Bless you.
